Murray Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital, offering general practice medicine, advanced diagnostics and treatments, surgery, and dentistry. When you bring your pet in for an exam with one of our doctors, they will receive a full nose to tail physical evaluation. Our medical team will address your primary concern as well as provide you information and an assessment on the overall condition of your pet's health, including recommendations and options for treatment if needed.

Wellness Exams and Consultations

For our Canine patients, the following vaccinations and routine preventive care are recommended depending on your pet's lifestyle:

-Distemper-Adenovirus-Parvovirus-Parainfluenza-Coronavirus (DA2PPC), Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Rabies and Lyme vaccines
-Canine Influenza vaccine
-Fecal exams and deworming to detect and treat intestinal parasites Heatworm disease testing and prevention
-Flea and tick prevention

For our Feline patients, the following vaccinations and routine preventive care are recommended depending on your pet's lifestyle:

-Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia-Chlamiydia Pasittaci (FVRCP), Feline Leukemia and Rabies vaccines
-Fecal exams and deworming to detect and treat intestinal parasites
-Feline Leukemia/Feline Immunodeficiency Virus testing
-Heartworm/Flea/Tick prevention

Whether your pet needs blood work, rapid assay testing for common diseases, cytology, or other diagnostic procedures, our hospital features a full in-house laboratory that provides same day results for most of the testing our doctors recommend. This helps us get answers quicker and provide faster treatments for your pet.

Laboratory

At Murray Animal Hospital QUALITY is our priority. All of our surgical patients receive blood work before being anesthetized to check organ function and blood cell counts so we can determine the safest anesthetic protocols to use for your pet. We use human grade monitoring equipment to ensure your pet's heart, lungs, blood pressure, and other vital functions are stable during the entire procedure. We place IV catheters and administer IV fluids as well as keep your pet thermoregulated to provide the safest care and quickest recovery. You can rest assured that your pet will be in caring hands and kept as comfortable as possible during their hospital stay.

Surgery

Routine dental care is just as important for our pets as it is for ourselves. It is recommended that pets get regular dental cleanings at least every other year to prevent periodontal disease that can lead to both severe oral pain and more serious general health conditions. Our hospital provides a broad range of dental care options for your pet. From early life preventive dental cleanings to advanced stage dental disease treatment and oral surgery, our doctors are equipped to provide the individualized care and treatment that your pet needs to keep them pain free and healthy.

Dentistry

$Our hospital offers the following specialized treatments and procedures in order to provide the most inclusive care for our patients and the most seamless and consistent experience for our clients. - K-Laser light therapy to help with tissue healing and repair - Advanced Orthopedic surgery, including fracture pinning, plating, and the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) procedure which is the preferred method of treatment for torn cruciate ligaments in dogs. - Chemotherapy$
